The Fisherman and his Soul

‘‘Of what value is my soul to me?

I cannot see it. I may not touch it. I do not know it.’’

said the young Fisherman.

The Fisherman and his Soul is a picture book

adapted from Oscar Wilde's tale of the same name.

For the love of a mermaid, a young fisherman wishes to abandon his soul and he did. His Soul wandered around the world alone for years, yet returned to the shore every year and called for the Fisherman.

The Soul tempted the Fisherman with good and bad to reunite with him.

It's a story about the connections between love, body, and soul;

and about the human nature to have mixed emotions.
